Meet the artist

Gianluca Bonomo is an award-winning* multidisciplinary artist and film-maker based in London. A good part of his recent art production consists of photographic series and video art works exploring the haunting power of moving bodies in a variety of dramatic or inspiring environments ranging from historic and artistic places to ordinary ones. Some of his latest series, include both photographs and video. Among these are  “Ubi Corpus” (When The Body”) and “Under”. Besides photographic series and experimental films Gianluca works on installations and multi-disciplinary art projects, hence the development of a concept through several art forms. This means that he collaborates with many artists in different fields. Cctvylle is one of these projects. Photography, Fine Art, Comics, Animation and even Fashion are some of the art forms the artists involved used to develop the concept.

Gianluca attended the College of Art in Palermo and the University of Modern and Contemporary art in Rome. In the past 15 years he has worked for a wide range of clients including Channel 4, BBC, ITV, Davis Films, University of the Arts London, University of West London, Striker 3D comics, Imogen Heap (Ellipse- the album), Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane), LogTV Media, Jaeger LeCoultre, Mika (Singer, songwriter) and many more. His eclectic experience includes the production of visual art (including Video Art), comics, film & video, which have been showcased in festivals and galleries worldwide.
